Spoiling America's Cats & Dogs, One Pet At A Time

Why choose Stella's Bones Pet Sitting & Dog Walking?

Stella's Bones isn't a side gig, a part-time job, or a way to pick up extra money for me. After going to law school and working as a lawyer for almost a decade, I decided that what I really wanted to do as a job is to work with animals. It was a huge leap of faith, but it's one decision I've never regretted.

  • Stella's Bones has been in business since 2017 and is fully insured and is a registered business in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
  • I have completed the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters certification course which includes study of care of cats, dogs, and small mammals such as rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs among others.
  • Along with my experience as a pet sitter and a dog walker, I also have seven years of experience volunteering at a local animal shelter where I've been trained to read canine body language to be able to interact with dogs safely and how to interact with dogs who have special behavioral issues such as fearfulness, high prey drive, and lack of social skills.
  • With my own animals, I have experience dispensing medicine, including insulin injections, and just about every quirk imaginable.

I'd love to be able to tell you that every dog I've ever met has liked me, but that little terrier at the shelter ruined my streak.
